The first thing that always blows people away is the simultaneous power and beauty of Becca Neunebel’s voice. At 25 years old she has already been on countless recordings, been featured in three nationally released video games, and in 2006 received a Chico Area Music Award for Best Female Vocalist.
The next thing that people are drawn to is the groove. We’ve all been to those concerts where nobody gets out of their seats, but you’ll never see that happen at a Sugar Shack show. The members of the band have been laying down grooves for artists like Zigaboo Modeliste, Tang, The Mission Players, and Will Bernard for the past several years. Though side projects are always available, it’s clear that Sugar Shack is where they have all found their home and will make their mark.
